California Council of the Blind
The CCB provides information and referrals, advocacy, publications and scholarships to blind and visually impaired Californians. This video and DVD were designed to inform the public about their many services. The program was also audio-described for the blind and visually impaired.
The Regional
Training Institute
Part of the Contra Community
College District, the Regional Training Institute provides performance-based
training programs for Contra Costa County employers. OTC produced a number
of
Flash-based
multimedia
presentations for RTI promotional events.
The Costco
Scholarship Fund
The Circle of Love is a 10-minute video that is designed to encourage
business leaders and individuals to contribute to the
Costco scholarship Fund. The emotionally charged video essay shares the
tales of the recipients of the scholarship fund.
Los Medanos
College
This promotional campaign included a video, CD-ROM, poster and
website and was designed to attract students to the occupational education
department at Los Medanos
College.
More
than
fifty students and faculty members from twelve different occupational
programs were interviewed for the project. The result are twelve individualized
program segments, which, according to the Los Medanos faculty members
and student counselors, have been both effective and inspirational. A
website was also produced for the Appliance
Technology program. The
campaign won a 2001 Broadcast Education Association award and a 2001
Worldfest
Film
Festival
award.
Cypress Mandela
Managed by the Oakland Private Industry Council, the Cypress
Mandela Training Center offers pre-apprenticeship construction training
programs for men and women in the Bay Area. OTC produced a 5-minute video
to promote the program to the community, potential participants, and
funders.
San Francisco
International Airport
This advertising campaign announced the annual job fair of the
San Francisco International Airport. OTC designed and placed advertising
in print and electronic billboards around the Bay Area to advertise the
event. The event was successful, attracting thousands of people from around
the San Francisco Bay Area.
